We took a trip up to Tiny Town last week. Tiny Town is a kid-sized city where everything is miniature. Some of the buildings you can walk into; most have little windows with interiors decorated to scale.

We found everything from realtors to grocery stores to greenhouses and gas stations.

Brinley is checking out the beauty parlor. Her appointment is at 2.

Walking around the firehouse…

The old schoolhouse. We told Drew about rulers and cone hats and his eyes got REAL big.

Brinley was just SURE this was Cinderella’s castle. MmmHmmm.

We took a break for lunch. Apparently we almost starved Drew to death.

Rowan chilled in the shade while the kids played on the playground.

Drew managed to leave a good amount of flesh behind. What kind of boy would he be without road rash?

After lunch, we took a much anticipated ride on the steam train. Gotta save the best for last!

The kids rode in the caboose, of course.

Drew made sure he came equipped with his train whistle from the last time we came to Tiny Town.

There were several little cabins, mining towns, and ranches along the tracks.

Exciting stuff!

Is there any better way to finish a day in the hot sun than with a cheap ice-cream cone?

We didn’t think so.
