the other 23 minutes
Everyday October 1st, 2008Of our mountain adventure…
One last try at a fall picture. Oh sure, take Mommy & Daddy out of the picture and we get total cooperation. nice!
We only had a few minutes to snarf our carefully planned picnic. It was a free-for-all fend for yourself kind of deal.
I’m not sure what up with Drew’s sandwich. Maybe he was too afraid to beg the Condiment Nazi for tomatoes, mustard, or even another slice of bread. In his defense, he had already eaten his turkey.
Brinley added extra protein to her meal with a little help from the woods. Crunchy!
The snake can swallow its prey whole. So can Brinley.
Looks like we got what we came for! I think?

Sweet picture of the kids. Rowan looks like she’s not amused. LOL Picnics in the mountains. Great family memory!
Cute CUTE photos!!! You have such a talent for catching things!!! I got to thinking last night about a fun thing for kids. It’s Santa’s Village at Pikes Peak, their website is
http://www.santas-colo.com/ . Their prices aren’t bad but it would for sure be a “weekend” trip for our family, I think it’s like 16-17 dollars a person. It’s like Christmas on Heroin 🙂 It is really cool for little kids because they can see Santa in July! I don’t know how cold it is up there already but when we went to Denver on vacation a few years ago we went here and it was fun! You can even feed the Reindeer! Anyway, thought you’d like to know, if you already didn’t.
