drew’s class party
Crafts, Drew November 3rd, 2008And you thought the Halloween fest was over. Guess again!
Drew had a party during class, I was ask to be the Room Mom. Oh, the responsibility! After stressing for a few days everything finally came together. I was able to round up some awesome volunteers who helped make the party lots of fun. Drew’s teacher said this was the healthiest party she had ever had! Who says healthy can’t be fun?
Drew wore his costume to school, where the first order of business was a costume parade down the halls. Looking good Scoob!
There were lots of activities to do in the classroom. One involved mummifying classmates. It’s a hard job when you’re 4 feet wide.
The orange peels had Jack-O-Lantern faces carved in them and were filled with fruit. Don’t worry there was plenty of candy. Going sober takes time.
I was in charge of the cookie center. Double Stuf pretzel leg Reeses Pieces spiders. Say that 20 times really fast.
Drew wanted his spider to have six eyes. Yummy!

Wow, what a fun party. In all the Halloween Parties that my kids ever had there was not one nutricious thing on the plate! You did an awesome job and so did the parents you got involved with you. Way to Go. The schools need more parents willing to do more than just bring in a bag of candy. G’ma
