To us, Valentines Day isn’t about flowers and chocolate. Or going out to a nice restaurant for dinner.

It’s about little things. Fun things. It’s about Skittles and Funyuns.

And gathering the ones you love around a griddle with some cookie cutters, red food coloring and fun sprinkles.

Don’t worry, there is a whole wheat pancake under all that jam. On Valentines Day sugar highs aren’t just allowed, they’re encouraged!

Both Brinley & Drew kept coming back for more & more pancakes. They out-ate me by far!

Rowan got her first taste of pancakes. Her pincer grasp is finally matured into full lobster claw. We had to unzip her jammy bag to get her into her bumbo; it is time to upgrade to highchair or booster.

The kids made sure to share the love with the furry friends in the house. Edgar got heart shaped lettuce chunks.

Cheddar may not have ever seen the sea, but he sure loves the chicken in it.

The love train continued chugging along when Drew & Brinley made pink Rice Crispy candy treats for their friends.

I think the kids figured out the true meaning of sharing the love, don’t you?
